Consider this when chosing a device to buy, or when deciding to flash OpenWrt on your device because it is listed as supported. See Broadcom WiFi for details. For the EA6300 with an FCC/IC ID suffix of EA6400 see Linksys EA6300; This router has two firmware partitions (linux & linux2) as recovery in case of a bad flash or build. TFTP only writes to linux. The wiki shows that it is a supported device, but I cannot find it in the router database. The ea6500 is single core and the ea6300 (v1) is exactly the same as the ea6400, both are dual cores.
I have a TP-Link AC1750 (Archer C8); it's been running dd-wrt for a few years just fine. I'm trying to get to the web interface today and I get connection refused. I can ping it, but a port scan shows nothing open. I tried a 30/30/30 reset before noticing the big red message about not doing a 30/30/30.
